I’m a customer, not an ATM.
I downloaded this app when I got my first Mac in 2009. The app was great then, or I should say the company’s interests seemed to include the customer’s interests as well then, and that hasn’t seemed the case in the last few years. The constant pop-ups forcing me confirm that I wish to “Stay Unprotected!” are obnoxious and, frankly, an affront. I feel like consideration of the customer has been thrown out the proverbial window in an all-out pursuit of profit. You can count me out of that game.
I purchased the backup option a few years ago, but experienced too many issues when syncing between my Mac and iPhone, and I found that the price increases didn’t make sense for what I was getting out of the app, so I discontinued premium service.
