Keeper Password Manager App Reviews

145 Customer Reviews:

I used the free app for a while to see if it is worth to use it. After a year I decided to buy it. Then 17 records I had were lost when I purchased the paid version. When I contacted the support website the were willing to try to restore the data but unfortunately after two hours of trying they couldn’t restore.. Now I want my money back, then they directed me to the app store.. Not a ‘Keeper’ app but a ‘loser’ app!

I purchased the upgrade and used for a year. Decided I did not want anymore. The company will not let me cancel. They continue to charge me and refuse to refund. I noticed other reviewers saying this is a scam. I concur. This company cares not for its customers.

Impossible to import data from Lastpass, doesn’t capture input as simply as Lastpass / Roboform / or 1Password. I regret spending the money but I am ditching it to continue using Lastpass.

The app is good. I use it all the time. But I cannot use it until I rate the dang thing when the company periodically prompts me to do so. This is exceedingly annoying. I pay yearly for this app, and do not appreciate being REQUIRED to give a rating. Stars are getting fewer and fewer each time this happens.

This software is a good product that can be made a lot easier to use. It does what it says it will do and I use it constantly throughout every day. I have been asking Keeper management on many occasions to PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE allow users to keep the program open as long as we need; it seems that I daILY have to reboot the system to get at my logins and passwords and it has expired on me; this drives me CRAZY!!!! If I have to use a password to get into the program, it is no more insecure to let me use it until I leave my computer; hackers can get into it in 30 minutes anyway; let ME take the responsibility for that and let me leave it open for as long as I need. Another way to improve your program is to enable cut and paste from the fields area; right now, the only way to copy and paste is to use the menu bar and that is inefficient. Otherwise, I have nothing else to add; it is a good product that could be made better………...

Ive been using Keeper on all my Apple devices - iMac, Macbook, iPhone, iPad for two years with no problems at all. One of the most stable and dependable programs out there. Definitely worth the price.

very effective and reliable

A little less automated than some password apps but that makes it more reliable.

How many times each day do you have to recall a password to launch an application? I just could not survive without KEEPER. I have KEEPER installed on every device from MacBook Pro to iPad, iPhone and even my Windows PC at work. Life moves both smoother and faster with KEEPER at hand. Changing and adding new passwords and modifying existing ones couldn’t be easier.

I like this product. It is user friendly and easy to download onto all devices (I have Apple devices). I like that you can cateogrize your passwords and the amount of passwords saved is unlimited.

I can’topen the vault!! I downloaded the app and I can’t get past first base. The app really works by not even letting me use it. I did read reviews first before I tried to try it. As a Password Manager I guess it isn’t for me as it won’t allow me to sign in. You may have betterluck then me.

Great for me!

Love this app on my iPhone and my 2009 MBP running Yosemite. Have been using for years and don’t plan on changing!

This app just keeps getting better. I have it installed on ios, iMac, and pc. It autoupdates on all devices no matter which device I use to add passwords. Love it.

An okay app. Does what it says. But the price at renewal is misleading and paying $39.98 for it is ridiculous. Will not renew again. There are other apps just as good and not as overpriced.

It reads, “Keep your passwords safe, secure, and easy to access. Anywhere. ANYTIME.” All except if your Internet is down since you can’t access your stuff without an Internet connection. WHAT IF you have no network connection (for WHATEVER reason) and want to access your important information like bank data, serial numbers, contact numbers, etc? Without the Internet, you’re out of luck. That is so not clear in any of the description. Not something I would call “secure.” Quite the opposite, IMO. I’ve been an Ascendo DataVault user for years and thought I’d try something with auto sync. What a mistake going with this garbage! Wasted $20 on two devices. I want my money back. UPDATE 05/02/15: THEY CHARGED MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION FOR $19.98. THEIVES. I HAVEN’T USED THIS POS SINCE I WROTE THIS REVIEW AND I RECEIVED NO INVOICE OR NOTICE. YOU BETCHA THIS IS GOING TO THE BBB IF I DON’T GET MY MONEY BACK.

I have loved using Keeper until these last few days. I did a backup as requested now I cannot open the Keeper App on my computer. It just stopped working!!! I do hope this is corrected soon, since this is an app that I use daily!!

I have been using this app for about 4 months and in general has been working well. The app lets you organize your passwords in folders which I like. I have over 50 passwords for both personal/general sites and work specific sites. it is easy for me to organize my Work passwords and Personal passwords in to separate folders. What I don’t like about the app is its continued upselling of features that I don’t need. Very frustrating and because of this I will probably not renew my annual subscription. When you pay over $20 for an app you would expect the constant upselling would be turned off for the paying user.

Basic UI Design says you don’t update a user’s flow! It is so annoying every time I open this app that I get alerts to update it. I’m not paying for it and I don’t want to! Whenever I have the time I’m going to switch, it’s a shame because it’s a great app, with one extremely annoying flaw.

Great

I have had this app for a few years now and its only getting better.

I have had this for a few years on my iPhone and it’s great. When I bought my macbook I downloaded the app; however, the app on my phone and mac aren’t connected and if I update a password on my phone it doesn’t update on my mac. Now, I can’t open Keeper at all on my Mac but it’s working fine on my phone. Of course, the password saved on my Mac is the one to pay my bills. Very annoyed.

I’ve enjoyed this app for a couple years. It’s easy to use and organize with. I like how it generates high level passwords. I like how I can copy and paste into desired fields rather than retype passwords, especially for long, complex passwords. This saves time! I do get annoyed with the upselling, which occurs even after you purchase the annual plan.
