Keeper Password Manager App Reviews
App is Not opening
all of a sudden the app is not opening on my macbook air…needs fixed
It’s a useful tool, easy. Now that I’m paying for the app, which is fine, people need to eat, I thought I’d be left alone. But no. Now there are additional features I can be enjoying — maybe I’d enjoy them, but my mind just shuts down when I’m approached with that “But wait! There’s MORE!” behavior.
I have to say that i was very pleasantly surprised that Keeper support (my support person was Kate) actually solved my issue (which just had to do with multiple accounts inadvertently set up, and did it thoroughly and fast. The instructions that I had to do were clear, and Kate followed up every step of the way! I love Keeper and Keeper support!!
Exactly what i needed to help secure my passwords. it was always a struggle to create strong passwords but now, I don’t need to drain the BRAIN. No longer need to remember all my passwords or write them in rediculous places only you know about, like the sticky note on the monitor :-/ AND . . I love that i can access the list from my cell phone and how easy it was to use and organize my digital life. This app is definately a “keeper."
After getting unlimited devices and a yearly subscription, stop giving me popups that ask me to share with my friends or turn on file sharing. I like the syncing capability and all the apps/browser plugins work well. Seems like keeper has the security and coding down, tell your marketing guy to take a vacation.
What a Relief!
Wonderful to have a secure and handy place to keep our personal information. Easy to use and reliable.

I feel I can really trust this password safe, yet is is comfortable to use and work with. I greatly appreciate it!
Awesome app!
i used to use is on my ipad and it was great there, but using on a macbook is just heaven. Its free whcih makes it evene better :)
My family has had this app for about three years. It keeps our information secure and we can share password and acount information between all of us. This is very helpful. You don’t want to keep the same password for aIl the accounts and apps that we use everyday. This app keeps track of all of them. It’s very easy to use and I definitely recommend it to anyone.
I have been using this app for several years now and it became indispensable. Too many accounts and passwords for my memory to keep track off. Never had any problem with this app, no crash, nothing negative to say.
First off, the app does work as advertise. I do like it and I’ve used it for a few years. However, I no longer need to the paid version, so I went online to my account to cancel the subscription. After looking around the website for a few minutes I discovered that I had to “e-mail” them in order to cancel / get refunded for my purchase. My e-mail was as clear as can be. “Please cancel my service, stop autorenewal, and refund what I just was charged.” About a half hour later, I got an e-mail asking me to reply. In the e-mail it stated “you just renewed your service, please tell me what you want to do.” So I replied once again, cancel, stop autorenew, and refund. I then got another e-mail asking “Why are you cancelling?” I replied again with the same broken record message. No offense, but any online service that requires me to e-mail or call to cancel service is a company that isn’t confident in their produc or services. Keeper keep things simple! Your app is great, but also understand that not everyone needs or wants your paid service all the time. I would have gladly paid a few dollars for the app on each of my devices, because I do think it’s a great app. However make subscriptions easy and painless. You’ve lost my business now and for the future.
I have used Keeper for about 2-years. The first year I opted for the “free” non-backed up version. My second year I paid the fee of $9.99 for a cloud back up. I was very content with the app and the service. Then this year they want $29.99 to back up even though it still states $9.99 in the App store. SO I chose to stay “Unprotected” as they put it…and now they’ve completely blocked my access. I’m taking this up with the App store and any one considering this purchase should look at FREE Apps like…”Passible”!
When I started using this great app it was free. I’ve stored over 70 passwords since 2013. But now the app requires 9.99 for 10 gb and 29.00 for the base plan. Total was nearly $39.00 just to access my passwords. The thing is they don’t have an export so your passwords are locked in their app with no way to retrive them if you want to delete the app. I’d rather reset all my passwords than give these developers a dime.
I have used Keeper for several years. It really is a great and easy to use app in which I was wiling to pay the $9.99. However, now it is $29.99 per year PLUS $9.99 for storage. I have about 200 passwords. Based on reviews, I printed all my passwords so I could retain a copy before my expiration date. Cancelled my subscription due to the constant upselling and ridiculous yearly fees. Money was automatically taken out of my paypal account, which I never authorized. Numerous email to clarify, I just filed a complaint to Paypal and that is how I got my money back.
It cannot be said enough - this company is ethically very sketchy. They roped me in with free service the first year, and are now holding my passwords hostage if I don’t renew for $29.99. Even on their own website, under pricing, you’ll see a scathing review under their headline: “People Love Keeper.” It may not be there by the time you see this, so here’s what it says.: Daily convenience This USED to be a great product and now they FORCE you to pay for it. Now all my passwords are locked inside and I dont have access to them. I hope this company goes out of business and soon for what they have done. This is absolutely absurd. I will be filing complaints and possibly seeking legal action against this company for their recent policy changes!!!!” This is one of the worst bait and switch scams I’ve ever been subjected to.
I have had this app for two years on my iPad, iPhone and MAC. As long as you sync the app the passwords are all the same. Thanks to chat at Keepwer I was able to add my husbands new cell phone (Motorola Moto e) and all we had to do is download the app and sign in with my login and master password. It populated all the info seamlessly! I love the fact that the new version can be opend with “touch” on my iPhone. I can be on my MAC and go to a web site that requires my password. I just click on the Keeper app which is an icon on Safari, log in, and the app inserts the login and password with a click. Also love that it will generate a password for you. Thanks Keeper!
I have been a Keeper user for a number of years now, and I honestly can not say enough about this tool. I use it, my wife and I use it to store and share passwords and personal information, and I use it professionally to store and manage hundreds of credentials for a SaaS business and provide access to those who need it. This product keeps getting better and better!
I’ve used Keeper for several years and found that it exceeded any other password security system I tried. It is simple to use and I like the fact there is a place for notes AND being able to add additional fields for more important information. SUGGESTION: Find a way to interface with computer systems so that when a company requires that the password for their business be changed that Keeper would automatically come up to update the password information. This would be also great when a new password is required for the first time. The reason I make this suggestion is because if the computer user is interrupted for some reason the user might fail to inter updated or new passwords. That is VERY frustrating when the user goes in to Keeper to obtain their password information and for some reason the updated or new password information is not in the Keeper “Vault”. I — and some others would REALLY appreciate this interface!!! Karen Ruth Ullom
I got the one-year subscription last year when I saw it on sale. I thought, sure… I’ll give it a try. It’s a good idea! I wanted to sync across all my devices. But the sync never worked properly. The Support Team wasn unable to help and just gave up after a while. So I never used the sync feature at all. I backed up to the cloud a couple times, but really, the subscription was a waste of money. So, obviously, I did not want to continue with another year of a product that doesn’t work. It took SO LONG to get them to cancel my subscription. And they charged me two weeks early, so I had to go throught the process of getting a refund. Which eventually I did. But then a week later I happened to check my account and they charged me again! And I had to get a refund AGAIN! And despite requesting that I just switch to the Free account which allows for local access and storage only, I’m now locked out of the software entirely… including online! Like I’m being punished for wanting to downgrade. So, fine. I will not be using this software any more. Good thing I made a backup before they locked me out. Jerks. Horrible company. Horrible!
I honestly don’t know what I would do without this app it is a sincere life saver. What I finally realized is if ever there is an emergency in the family and someone needs access to all the passwords and account info (since I am the family accountant) I only have to give them my keeper login and all the information is right there for them. Having used the app for almost 3 years now, the thought of switching hasn’t crossed my mind because their level of ensuring safety is top notch.
